Balka's radiator makes you feel instantly penned in. They seem to represent whatever sort of physical barrier one could think of ( a wall, a fence, prison, cage, etc.). I think this is very relevant to current affairs (think United States border wall). The heat the radiators give off is subtle, yet slowly begins to build until you feel very aware of it, again making you uncomfortable in another way. The piece overall feels very oppressing.
